The Von Duprin 7827EO is a heavy-duty Surface Vertical Rod (SVR) exit-only panic exit device — no trim attached. Designed for high-traffic commercial doors where the exit side requires panic egress without keyed or lever entry from outside.
The 7827EO ships with no trim attached. To add lever, nightlatch, or pull trim, pair with a compatible 78 Series Series trim (sold separately).
Exit-only operation via touchbar. No outside lever or pull. Hex dogging standard — touchbar can be locked open via cylinder dogging accessory.
Mounts directly to door using included machine screws. Specify finish and length (36in for 3ft doors / 48in for 4ft doors) at order. No additional trim required — device ships ready to install.
Yes — order a compatible trim separately. The 78 Series Series trim line includes 996L (active lever), 996L-NL (nightlatch lever), 996L-BE (passage lever), and 996L-DT (dummy lever), plus 990 pull/thumb-piece options.
EO (Exit Only) ships bare with no trim. L variants ship with a lever trim attached as a complete kit.
