Schlage ALX53 Series Grade 2 Entry Cylindrical Lock

The ALX Series is Schlage's heavy-duty Grade 2 commercial cylindrical lock — a workhorse for medium-traffic commercial openings in offices, retail, multifamily, and light institutional applications. Modular chassis design allows field-replaceable function kits, chassis kits, and lever/finish combinations.

Function: Entry. Key locks/unlocks the outside lever. Inside lever always free for immediate egress. Distinct from Office in that there is no push-button on the inside; the lock state is controlled exclusively by key.

This configuration is the 6-Pin Conventional Cylinder variant.
