The Von Duprin 996L-M is the active classroom-function lever trim specifically designed for 9875 and 9975 Series mortise exit devices. Outside cylinder controls the lever — key locks/unlocks it. When unlocked, the lever retracts the latch for normal entry.
Compatible with: Von Duprin 9875 mortise exit devices and 9975 mortise exit devices (smooth or grooved). For Rim and Vertical Rod (98/99), use 996L-RV.
Classroom function. Mortise lock body required (1-1/4" mortise cylinder). Key locks/unlocks outside lever. Free egress from inside via the device touchbar.
Requires mortise prep on the door. Connector hardware (-CON suffix on SKU) is for Allegion Connect electrified systems. Specify lever style and handing.
